For centuries, especially during the Middle Ages, most European trade is carried by the Anatolia and the Mediterranean, towards the distant lands of the East, where they were brought to the spices, paid in Europe the weight of gold. For them, is promoted bloody wars and daring men opened new paths to civilization and knowledge of the world.
